What I need to get out the door / Morning makeup routine

One morning I started to wonder how many products I actually use to get out the door on a usual weekday. I started counting the products and steps and wow! There's actually 14 products on a busy weekday that I use to get out the door in 15 minutes :)

And that's only makeup :D

So, if you're interested in what I pack on my face, keep on reading :)

1. First off, I cleanse my face with Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (review here) to remove all that's on my face. Then I apply Vichy Idealia Eye Contour Idealiser. I love this eye cream because it moisturises well, absorbs fast and doesn't interfere with my makeup. As a face moisturiser I use Hydraluron that also absorbs within seconds so that I can quickly move on to applying my makeup.

2. Before applying any of my makeup, I have recently been reaching for Oriflame Conceal Kit and I use the peachy concealer lightly in the darkest areas under my eyes. Then I apply Lumene Skin Perfector Matt Makeup foundation. To cover and highlight my under-eye area I use Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer that has fast become my holy grail product. It has full coverage and stays on for ages without creasing almost at all. To set my under-eyes and t-zone, I use Nars Light Reflecting Setting Powder in Translucent Crystal. This power is AMAZING!!!! It is so finely mild that you can't see it at all. It keeps my makeup and especially concealer from creasing and it also stays on for ages making my skin silky smooth. As an eyeshadow primer I use my beloved Avon Eye Shadow Primer that keeps my eyeshadow in place for ages and applying it doesn't tug on my eyelids.

3. Then I move on to blush and highlighter. I have been obsessed with Sleek Blush by 3 in shade Pink Lemonade and especially the cream blusher in the middle. The lasting power of it is also amazing. For highlighting I use Lancome Blush Subtil in shade 004 Highlighting Beige. It gives my face such a nice glow without being glittery or looking greasy.

4. For my brows I use a very affordable Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in shade 040 Don't Let Me Brow'n. It's the perfect cool-toned taupe brown pencil that matches my natural hair colour. Plus it has a brush on the other end. I don't think I will replace this one any time soon :)
I've been reaching most for my e.l.f. Prism Eyshadow palette in Naked or Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette recently. The BB palette is on the right side on the photo and I use the third shade from the top to blend out any eyeshadow I wear.
For mascara I use Max Factor Masterpiece Transform at the moment.

I didn't include any lipsticks in this post because my everyday makeup is very neutral so I usually use 2-3 different lipsticks during the day :)

Is it too much compared to the amount of products you use every morning? Or maybe too little?

Hakkasin ühel hommikul kokku lugema mitut toodet ma kasutan tavalisel tööpäeval selleks, et uksest välja minna.
Kokku sai 14 toodet ja kõigi nende pealekandmiseks kulub mul umbes 15 minutit.

1. Kõigepealt kasutan Garnier mitselaarvett, millega eemaldan öö jooksul näole kogunenu. Seejärel kannan silmade alla Vichy Idealia Eye Contour Idealizer silmakreemi. See imendub väga kiirelt ja sobib ülihästi meigi alla. Seejärel kasutan naha niisutamiseks Hydraluron geeli, mis samuti imendub sekunditega, nii et saa pea kohe liikuda jumestuskreemini.

Viimasel ajal olen enne muu meigipõhjaga alustamist hakanud kasutama Oriflame Conceal Kit'ist virsikukarva tooni, et katta kõige tumedamad osad silmade all ja ümbruses (selgelt annab stressirohke tööperiood tunda). Seejärel kannan näole Lumene Skin Perfector Matt Makeup jumestuskreemi. Järgmisena võtan ette Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer peitekreemi, mille abil katan ja helendan silmaaluseid ja muid näo piirkondi. See peitekreem sai väga kiirelt minu absoluutseks lemmikuks, sest see katab ülihästi, ei kogune kortsudesse ja püsib väga pikka aega.
Et kogu see krempel kinnitada, kasutan Nars Light Reflecting Setting Powder puudrit toonis Translucent Crystal. See on nii peene koostisega, et seda pole näol näha ning nahk on katsudes siidine ja pehme.
Lauvärvi aluskreemina kasutan oma armastatud Avon Eye Shadow Primer'it, mis hoiab lauvärvi paigal hiliste õhtutundideni ja seda peale kandes ei pea ma oma laugusid tirima.

3. Põsepunana kasutan Sleek Blush by 3 palett toonis Pink Lemonade ja enamasti keskmist kreemjast ruuži. Seegi püsib peal terve päeva. Särapuudrina kasutan Lancome Blush Subtil toonis 004 Highlighting Beige, mis annab nahale kauni kuma ega ole seejuures sädelev.

4. Silmameigis olen viimasel ajal haaranud kõige tihedamini e.l.f. Prism Eyeshadow või Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette lauvärvipalettide järele. BB paletist (pildil paremal) ülevalt kolmandat tooni kasutan alati ükskõik, millise lauvärvi hajutamiseks.
Kulmud korrigeerin Catrice Eye Brow Stylist kulmupliiatsi abiga toonis 040 Don't Let Me Brow'n. Selle külm pruun toon sobib ideaalselt minu loomuliku juuksetooniga.
Ripsetušina kasutan Max Factor Masterpiece Transform'i.

Huulepulki ma pildile ei lisanud, kuna mu igapäevane meik on enamasti neutraalne ning päeva jooksul kasutan 2-3 erinevat huuletoodet/tooni.

Though I'm a little late with my overview of favourite products of 2014 I hope you don't mind finding it out now :)

Let's start with makeup and especially eyes :)

Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette - perfect for those who prefer matte eyeshadows because there's 5 matte shades out of 7. These shadows are great quality and I could easily go for a long time using just this one palette :)

Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette #796 Cuir Cannage - four gorgeous shimmery shades with a neutral matte brown shade for blending. Perfect both for day and night :) And of course - the quality is also magnificent :)

e.l.f. Studio Prism Eyeshadow Palette in Naked - if you love shimmery eyeshadows, this $10 palette is just for you. I'm amazed by the quality of these shadows and I often reach for it when I need to quickly slap something on :)

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in #25 Slate - this cream shadow is just the best! Either as a base or on it's own, it works perfect both ways. Love it!!

e.l.f. Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in shade Coffee - I love to fill in the gaps between my lashes to make them look fuller and this dark brown looks like black but less harsh. Plus it costs just $1!!!!!

MaxFactor Masterpiece MAX Mascara - this one might be even better than my favourites from L'Oreal. I especially loved the fact that I didn't have to curl my lashes because this mascara did it for me. Great, great mascara!

Let's move on to face makeup :)

Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in #40 Don't Let Me Brow'n - this is a perfect colour match for my eyebrows and it doesn't have any red in it. It stays on whole day and has brush with it which makes it fast a very convenient. Plus it's super affordable :)

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Long-Wear Flawless Fluid Makeup - I have a full review on it here. It's truly long-wearing and also leaves my skin matte for a very long time. I use it on days I need to look flawless for a long time. Love it!

Kiehl's Actively Correcting & Beautyfying BB Cream - you can find my review here. I use it on days when I'm in a hurry and need to even out my skin in just seconds. Great product!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Light2 Vanilla - this is the BEST concealer I've ever tried. I just can't believe how well it covers my dark circles! Also it's a great highlighter that blends seamlessly!

L'Oreal True Match Minerals Foundation - my review here. I love that the application is fast and easy and the coverage is very good. I especially loved it during summer :)

Sleek Blush by 3 in Pink Lemonade - I got this blush palette in July last year and have been using the middle cream blush every day since. I'm addicted!

Skincare is next :)

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque - by far the best and easiest face mask I've tried last year. When my tube gets empty, I'll run out and get a new one :) My review is here.

JOIK Silky Facial Serum with Cranberry Seed Oil - whenever I apply this serum, my skin just purrs with delight :) Though it's an oil, it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin nourished and soft :) Review here.

Lirene Last Minute Body BB - they call it body makeup :) I never fry myself in the sun so I go around looking pale and slightly bluish even during summer. In order not to scare people, I slap this tinted moisturiser on my body and it gives my skin a healthy slightly tanned look. Comes in two shades :)

Last but not least I have three favourite online shops where I've left quite a lot of money last year :)
First it's iHerb where I get my e.l.f., Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque and plenty of other natural products. The packages arrive in two weeks and I haven't yet had any problems with my purchases.

Kõigepealt kolm läuvärvipaletti, millest igaüks suudab mu vajadused täielikult rahuldada pikaks ajaks. Mattide lauvärvide austajale meeldib kindlasti Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette lauvärvipalett, kus seitsmest toonist on matid lausa 5. Kasutan vasakult kolmandat tooni igapäevaselt koopajoonel ja hajutamiseks. Diori 5 Couleurs palett toonis 796 Cuir Cannage sisaldab nelja kaunilt kumavat sädelevat tooni ning üht matti pruuni hajutamiseks. Selle paleti võtan endaga kaasa lühematele sõitudele, sest sellega saavutab kerge vaevaga nii tagasihoidliku päeva- kui ka glamuurse õhtumeigi. Kvaliteet on mõistagi väga hea.

e.l.f. Liquid Eyeliner silmalainer toonis Coffee on tumepruun või peaaegu musta värvi lainer, mille ülipeen pintsel aitab suurepäraselt ripsmete vahele pääseda, et tekitada lopsakamate ripsmete efekti. Lisaks maksab kõigest dollar!
Ripsmetuššidest meelis eelmisel aastal enim MaxFactor Masterpiece MAX, mida kasutades ei vajanud ma koolutajat. Sellest võib saada suur ja tugev konkurent minu lemmikutele L'Orealilt :)

Wishlist: Makeup books

I have been obsessed with makeup since early teens and since I was/am really pale in my face, I even started using a mauve eyeshadow as a blush on my face when I was about 15 :)

My first makeup book was a gift from a friend more than 10 years ago - it was Face Forward by Kevyn Aucoin. This book is amazing and so inspirational, I just love it and find new and exciting stuff each time I open it! It would be a great gift for every makeup lover out there :)

This book made me want to learn and perfect my makeup application and I have been dreaming about becoming a makeup artist since :)

I already have several makeup books and I love reading or just flipping through them time and again.

In my collection there are two books from Jemma Kidd - Make-Up Masterclass and Make-Up Secrets . I also have a book by Scott Barnes who is the makeup artist that created the famous "Jennifer Lopez glow" called About Face. And I also have the Express Makeup by Rae Morris.

But if you think that's enough for me, you are so very wrong :D

I still have a lot of books in my wish list that I would be very happy to own :)

1. Classic Beauty: The History of Makeup by Gabriela Hernandez - that would be such an amazing book to see the evolution of cosmetics from ancient times through today. I've been keeping an eye on this book for over a year but it is kind of pricey :)

2. Makeup Your Mind by Francois Nars - because it's written by HIMself

3. Everything Eyes by Bobbi Brown - I'm all about the eyes. Eyeshadow is my most favourite makeup product and I have hundreds of them. I'm obsessed with eyes :)

4. Quick Looks by Rae Morris - all of us are constantly in a hurry so a few tips on how to look good fast is always welcome :)

5. Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual by Bobbi Brown - seems that every makeup addict out there has this book and so should I :)

Ma olen meigist ja kosmeetikast olnud huvitatud juba varajastest teismelise aastatest.

Eriti suur meigihullus ning unistus meigikunstnikuks saada algas hetkest kui sõbranna enam kui kümme aastat tagasi tõi USAst mulle legendaarse MUA Kevyn Aucoin'i kirjutatud raamatu Face Forward.

Recent favourites...

Lately, I've been really busy and don't have a lot of time to get ready in the mornings. 

So, I've started to use less makeup and I've been reaching for all these fuss-free makeup products. Weirdly enough a lot of them are cream products :)

First of all - my Clarisonic Plus. I love the gentle exfoliation it provides and it also massages my skin and cleans it so that if I use toner or micellar water afterwards, there's not a trace of makeup left on my skin. I feel that it really does cleanse my skin thoroughly and I hope that after some time it will also help to improve my skin deep down :) I use it every other day and feel that this way it's not too harsh for me :)

One of the makeup products I actually never use are contour powders and bronzers :) But this Lancome Star Bronzer Sun-Kissed Bronzing Power is just the perfect shade to wear as an eyeshadow. It makes my eyes look so blue and bright. And it's matte, which is perfect :) For using as a bronzer, I feel that this one would look too orange in my skin tone (swatch in the middle). If I use an eyeshadow primer it also stays on the whole day :)

I've had my Oriflame Beauty Eyebrow Kit for a long time and I really like it. The only product I almost never touched from the palette is the wax on the bottom of the kit. But after filling my eyebrows in and using my finger to warm the wax a bit and then applying it, the wax makes my eyebrows stay put for the whole day. The only downside is that the wax looks quite yucky now and I don't like my makeup looking dirty :D

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in shade #01 Black is something I think I cannot live without anymore. It makes putting mascara on my bottom lashes so easy and clean plus the mascara doesn't smudge or flake during the whole time I'm wearing it. Love it!

All kind of cream products is my new obsession. It' just so easy to apply them especially with my fingers :)
I've been wearing the cream blusher from my Sleek Blush By 3 palette in shade Pink Lemonade every single day (swatch second from left). It's very long-wearing product that gives my cheeks a fresh flush during the day :)
I've been wearing Maybelline Color Tattoo 24H cream eyeshadow in shade #35 On and on Bronze very often (swatch second from right). It is a shimmery colour but on some days I quite like it. A more in-depth review on Color Tattoos will come soon :)
The other cream eyeshadow I've been loving recently and that has previously featured in my favourites is Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in shade #25 Slate (swatch on the right). It's my favourite taupey grey matte shade and it truly is long wearing. I apply and blend it with my fingers which is very convenient when in a hurry :)
Surprisingly the lip product I've been reaching for most is Bellaoggi Tentazione lipstick pencil in shade #03 Candy Pink (swatch on the left). It was an impulse buy off the discount shelf. Ah, oh... it's just awesome. Matte soft pink shade that lasts a very very long time! This product proves that you don't always have to spend a fortune to get a really worthy product :)

Mu elutempo on viimasel ajal olnud ülimalt kiire - varane ärkamine ei jäta just kuigi palju aega meigi peale kulutada, seega on mul tekkinud hulk tooteid, mis aitavad paari minutiga hakkama saada.

Clarisonic Plus - see puhastab mu naha täiesti puhtaks! Kui ma pärast Clarisonic'u kasutamist oma näo tooniku või mitsellaarveega üle tõmban, on mu nahk täiesti puhas ja mingeid meigijälgi ei ole. Lisaks koorib see hellalt mu nahka ning masseerib seda. Kaifin! :D

Ma üldiselt ei kasuta kunagi ei kontuurimis- ega päikesepuudrit. Kuna mul see Lancome Star Bronzer Sun-Kissed Bronzing Power (värvinäidis keskel) sahtlis vedeles, proovisin seda lauvärvina ja ohhoooo! Mu hallid silmad muutuvad helesiniseks kui seda kasutan! Lisaks, lauvärvi aluskreemi kasutades püsib see peal terve päeva!

Oriflame Beauty Eyebrow Kit kulmupalett on mul kasutuses olnud juba terve igaviku ja see meeldib mulle väga. Ainus toode, mida ma sellest paletist praktiliselt puutunud polnud, oli kulmuvaha. Kuid kui seda sõrmede vahel veidi soojendada ja siis värvitud kulmudele kanda, kindlustab vaha selle, et kulmud püsivad seal, kus on nende koht, kogu päeva jooksul! :)

Alates hetkest kui hakkasin kasutama spetsiaalselt alumistele ripsmetele mõeldud Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara ripsmetušši toonis #01 Black ei kujuta ma oma elu selleta enam ette. Mugav pisike harjas muudab tušši pealekandmise kergeks ja puhtaks ning see ei liigu ripsmetelt kuhugi enne kui selle maha pesen. Fantastiline!

Kreemjad tooted on ajapuuduse tõttu muutunud asendamatuks. Sestap kasutan viimasel ajal oma Sleek Blush By 3 põsepunapaleti kreemjat ruuži (värvinäidis vasakult teine) kõige sagedamini. See püsib peal terve päeva ja annab mu näole terve jume :)
Kreemjatest lauvärvidest olen viimasel ajal kõige rohkem kasutanud Maybelline Color Tattoo 24H toonis #35 On and on Bronze (värvinäidis paremalt teine). See on üsna sätendav ja seega ei kanna ma seda igapäevaselt aga vastavalt tujule ikkagi piisavalt tihti. Eraldi arvustus Color Tattoo'dest tuleb üsna pea :)
Teine lemmik kreemjas lauvärv on imeilus hallikas taupe toon, mis on ka varasemalt lemmikutes listitud olnud. Tegemist on Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow lauvärviga toonis #25 Slate (värvinäidis paremal). Tõeliselt kauakestev lauvärv, mis ei vaja aluskreemi :)
Üllatavalt on mu viimase aja enimkasutatav huuletoode Bellaoggi Tentazione huulepulga pliiats toonis #03 Candy Pink (värvinäidis vasakul). Soetasin selle mingi suvalise sooduka ajal Selverist ja ohh! Nii ilus ja matt toon, mis kestab tunde ja tunde. Toode, mis tõestab, et ülihea tulemuse saavutamiseks pole alati vaja kulutada tervet varandust :)

Hair and body

Kerastase Bain Chroma Captive Colour Radiance Protective Shampoo - I just love Kerastase haircare line! Though my hair isn't coloured at the moment I had less than half a bottle of this shampoo left so I happily used it up. I remember it keeping my coloured hair staying radiant longer plus this shampoo keeps my hair shiny and healthy! I plan on having some highlights done soon and then I would definitely like to repurchase this line :) 

 Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume - I recently used this bottle up and I really missed having it! Even though I purchased two other dry shampoos which are quite good, I still grabbed a new bottle straight away when I saw it on sale. It gives extra volume and if I put it in my hair the night before, it keeps my hair looking a lot more fresh in the morning oppose to spraying it on already a bit dirty hair on the second day! Love it and will (and already have :D ) repurchase :)

Face and body
Dr Hauschka Cleansing Clay Mask 10g - lately I've been trying out different face masks and this have been the first one I really enjoyed. This little packet was enough for one try so I can't really say if it really deep cleaned my pores but my face felt really soft and nice afterwards and it didn't dry my skin out. If it wasn't that pricey I would love to have the full size of the mask.
Oriflame Activelle Cotton Dry 24h anti-perspirant - I love Oriflame deodorants. Thay are affordable and do their job very well. Plus their scent is not overpowering. The next time I order something from Oriflame, I will definitely get a new anti-perspirant again.
Garnier Mineral 48h Ultra Dry deodorant - I usually don't like sprays but since it was the mini size, I liked to have it with me on small trips. It did it's job well but the scent was too strong.
Makeup
Oriflame Perfect Fusion Foundation SPF 25  in shade Ivory - I liked that the bottle came with a pump. It gave light to medium coverage but in my opinion this foundation is more suitable for dry to normal skin. I have combination skin and I felt that during spring when the weather was warmer, my face started to shine and get oily in the T-zone after 4 hours of wearing it. Not going to repurchase.
 Avon Eyeshadow Primer  in shade light beige - this is a good and affordable primer. I have nothing bad to say about it and I might repurchase :)
L'Oreal False Lash Wings mascara - I had a full review on it HERE. I love this mascara and if I use up the 7 ones I have in my drawers ( :D ) at the moment and won't find anything better, I will definitely repurchase. Amazing value for money :)
Maybelline Color Whisper in shade #130 Pink Possibilities - lovely, creamy peachy pink shade that you can apply without a mirror. Looks especially good when tanned. Not going to repurchase at the moment just because I have too many lipsticks :)
Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color  in shade #31 Pale Mauve - very nice nude shade that surprisingly doesn't wash me our nor make me look sick or dead. But it just got old and started to smell funky. I'm very sad to have to throw it away :(
Other
MAC Brush Cleanser - it's really efficient and I will definitely repurchase. Good value for money and lasts long! I usually mix it with a little water and still get my brushes squeaky clean. Plus mixing it with water makes the bottle last longer :)

Kerastase Bain Chroma Captive Colour Radiance Protective Shampoo - mulle väga meeldivad Kerastase juuksehooldustooted! Kuigi mu juuksed ei ole hetkel värvitud, kasutasin selle pooliku pudeli rõõmuga lõpuni. Ajal kui mu juuksed olid värvitud, aitas see šampoon värvil kauem ja juustel tervemate ja läikivatena püsida. Kui uuesti juukseid värvin, ostan ilmselt uuesti. Kerastase tooteid saab soetada näiteks Levelzone e-poest, kus on hetkel paljud juuksehooldustooted sooduspakkumises :)

 Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume - hiljuti sai mul see kuivšampoon otsa ja ma lausa igatsesin seda! Olen vahepeal soetanud veel 2 teiste brändide kuivšampooni kuid seda Levelzone'is sooduspakkumises nähes, tellisin kohe pudeli varuks. Ma leian, et kui seda õhtul juustesse piserdada, siis on hommikul juuksed hoopis puhtamad kui näiteks teise päeva hommikul seda juba pisut rasustesse juustesse lasta. Ja see annab tõesti XXL kohevust!

Nägu ja keha
Dr Hauschka Cleansing Clay Mask 10g - viimasel ajal pakuvad näomaskid mulle suurt huvi ja olen proovinud päris mitut. See Dr Hauschka savimask on seni ainus, mis on meeldinud. 10 grammisest pakist jätkus üheks kasutuskorraks ja seetõttu ma mingit erilist poore sügavpuhastavat toimet ei täheldanud. Küll aga oli nahk pehme ja mõnus ega kiskunud peaaegu ülse, erinevalt teistest proovitud savimaskidest. Krõbe hind paneb veidi kukalt kratsima aga kui otsingud tulemust ei too, ostan ilmselt ka suure paki :)

Oriflame Perfect Fusion Foundation SPF 25  toonis Ivory - mulle meeldis, et jumestuskreem on pumbaga pudelis. Sellel on kerge kuni keskmine katvus kuid minu arvates ei sobi see kombineeritud ja rasusele nahale. Minu nägu hakkas umbes 4 tunni pärast T-tsoonis läikima. Ilmselt enam ei osta.
 Avon Eyeshadow Primer  lauvärvi aluskreem toonis light beige - väga hea ja korralik lauvärvi aluskreem, mis on väga soodsa hinnaga. Ilmselt ostan uuesti :)
L'Oreal False Lash Wings ripsmetušš - kirjutasin sellest ripsmetušist pikemalt SIIN. Väga-väga hea ripsmetušš ning kui olen ära kasutanud need 7, mis mul sahtlis proovimist ootavad ning ei leia nende hulgast paremat tušši, ostan kindlasti uue tuubi :)
Maybelline Color Whisper toonis #130 Pink Possibilities - armas virsikukarva roosa huulepulk, mis on kerge ja niisutav ning mille pealekandmiseks pole peeglit vaja. Eriti kena näeb see välja päevitunud nahaga :) Ei osta uut lihtsalt seetõttu, et mul on liiga palju huulepulki :D
Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color  huulepulk toonis #31 Pale Mauve - enam-vähem ainus nude  toonis huulepulk, mis mulle sobis. Kahjuks sai see lihtsalt vanaks ja hakkas juba imelikult lõhnama. Nii ma ta väga raske südame prügikasti suunangi ja jään pikalt taga nutma :(
Muu
MAC Brush Cleanser pintslite puhastamise vedelik - väga tõhus toode nii hea hinna eest (umbes 11 eurot). Pudelist jätkub pikaks ajaks ning mina segan seda lausa veidikese veega. Ka veega segades peseb meigipintslid täiesti puhtaks ning nii jätkub seda ka kauemaks. Peangi kiirelt Kaubamajja jooksma, et uus pudel koju tuua :)

I've been reaching for the same products all the time recently so why not list them all so that maybe you could find something nice to try out for yourself :)

Hair

I recently cut my hair and have a nice layered bob now. Since my hair is very heavy, I am always looking for products that give a LOT of volume.

Now that my hair is shorter, I find that the Shu Uemura Ample Angora Volumizing Light Foam really does lift my roots and gives quite some volume. I apply it on towel-dry hair, concentrating on the roots and blow-dry my hair. When my hair was longer and didn't have layers in, I felt this product didn't have enough power to lift my heavy hair, so that's what you might want to consider. But right now I'm loving and rocking it :)

I use Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume not as a dry shampoo actually :) I spray it in my hair after I've styled and flat-ironed it and it really gives my hair a lot of volume. It looses some of it's hold during the day but running a comb of fingers through my hair, livens it up again, so no need for carrying it around with me :) Plus it keeps my hair fresh on the second day, too ;)

Lips

I forgot to include my MaxFactor lipgloss in shade 35 Lovely Candy in my last Gifts and haul post but it actually was also a gift from the Moekuulutaja team. It's very light milky pink colour that's very glossy. It's not sticky, stays on quite some time, wears off nicely and makes my lips look a lot fuller. 

I wear it on it's own a lot but I love to pair it with Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer in shade 102 Nova. I put MaxFactor under and Rimmel on top of it and this combo looks just so lovely and vibrant and very suitable for spring. I actually use this trick a lot - I put a light gloss under a lipstick and that gives me fuller lips, a nice gloss and the colour is not so heavy. Perfect for daytime and for school/work :)

Makeup

I've rediscovered my Inglot Multicolour System Highlighting powder in shade 85 recently. It gives my face a subtle but really nice glow that's not overpowering. Been loving that as a highlighter a lot lately and been wearing it every day :) (I wrote about it a while ago here)

I totally adore Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadows and I recently got two more colours as a gift. I've been using the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in shade 25 Slate very often. Especially when I'm in a hurry. I don't need a primer with it and it works perfect either as a base or on it's own. It doesn't crease and stays on whole day.

A product I almost forgot about and which I took out from my drawer lately is Giorgio Armani single eyeshadow in shade 66. It a nice matte mauve pink colour that is suitable for daytime. I apply it all over the lid and use a matte brown in the outer v. Wearing it just on it's own makes me look a bit like I've been crying but paired with some darker shade, it's my every day go-to look lately :)

Last but not least - I've been loving my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in shade Mushroom with both of the eyeshadows mentioned above. As you can see on the swatch, it goes with both of them perfectly. It stays put all day and it might even be waterproof :) It's very soft to apply and hasn't irritated my eyes :)

Juuksed

Lõikasin hiljuti oma juuksed lühemaks ja järku. Mu juuksed on väga rasked ja kui need õige pisut pikemaks kasvavad, hoiavad need väga peadligi, sestap olen pidevalt juuksejuuri tõstvate ja kohevust andvate toodete otsinguil.

Nüüd kus mu juuksed on veidi lühemad ja kergemad tõstab Shu Uemura Ample Angora Volumizing Light Foam juuksevaht mu juuksejuuri päris korralikult ja annab mõnusalt kohevust juurde.  Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume kuivšampooni kasutan ma tegelikult puhastel juustel pärast seda kui olen juukseid sirgendanud, et neile veelgi rohkem kohevust anda. Ja kohevust saab selle tootega väga palju! Päeva jooksul vajub see küll veidi ära aga kui kammi või sõrmedega juuksejuuri sasida, ärkavad need taas ellu. Lisaks on järgmisel päeval juuksed ikka veel puhtad :)

Huuled

Unustasin oma viimasele Kinkide ja ostude postitusele lisada Moekuulutaja tiimilt saadud MaxFactor huuleläike toonis 35 Lovely Candy. See on väga läikiv piimjas heleroosa huuleläige, mis püsib päris kaua peal, kulub ühtlaselt maha ja muudab mu huuled palju lopsakamaks. Kannan seda nii üksikult kui ka taasavastatud Rimmel Apocalips huulelakiga toonis 102 Nova. Ma kannan huuletele kõigepealt MaxFactorit ja siis selle peale Rimmeli huulelaki ning tulemuseks on ilus kumav ja elav toon, mis on ideaalne kevadsuvisel hooajal.

Makeup

Absoluutselt iga päev viimase kuu või kahe jooksul olen highlighter'ina kandnud Inglot Multicolour System Highlighting powder puudrit toonis 85. See annab mu näole väga ilusa kuma, mis on piisavalt tagasihoidlik, et ma ei näe välja nagu diskopall.

Kui mul on kiire või kui ma lihtsalt ei jaksa väga pikalt oma meigile aega kulutada, kasutan imelist Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow kreemlauvärvi toonis 25 Slate. See sobib nii lauvärvina kui aluskreemina kasutamiseks ning püsib peal kogu pika päeva.

Olin ära unustanud kuid nüüd võtsin jälle kasutusse oma vana lemmiku Giorgio Armani lauvärvi toonis 66. See on matt vanaroosa toon, mida kasutan koos mati pruuniga silma välisnurgas. Kui ma seda lauvärvi ainult üksinda kannan, jääb mulje nagu oleksin nutnud :D Seega tuleb sellele lauvärvile kindlasti tumedama tooniga sügavust juurde anda :)

Hetke lemmik silmapliiats on Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil toonis Mushroom. See sobib ideaalselt mõlema ülelmainitud lauvärviga, see on vaat' et veekindel, püsib peal terve pika päeva ning on piisavalt pehme, et ei ärrita mu silmi.

Viimasest ostude postitusest on juba üksjagu aega möödas ning tahan kiirelt, enne kui vahepeal minuni jõudnud tooted tühjade potsikute postituses lõpetavad, neid ka sulle näidata :)

Alustame kronoloogilises järjekorras… Moekuulutaja tiim saatis mulle armsa kingituse, milles sel korral imearmas pisike meigikott, MaxFactor Smoky Eye Effect kahe otsaga kreemlauvärvi pulk toonis Bronze Haze (sellega saab ülikiirelt ja lihtsalt ilusa kerge päevameigi või ka õhtuks sobiva suitsusilma luua) ning mitu Wella juuksehooldusvahendite sämplit. Mulle väga meeldivad minisuuruses tootenäidised, mida on hea lühematele väljasõitudele kaasa haarata :)

Oma armsalt õelt sain Make Up For Ever mati päikesepuudri toonis 30, Diorshow ripsmetušši, Revlon Colorstay kauapüsiva küünelaki toonis 110 Marmalade (kibelen neid juba proovima), veel kaks imelist Bobbi Brown kreemlauvärvi toonides 25 Slate ja 35 Shore (minu BB kreemlauvärvide kohta tuleb eraldi postitus, sest need on seda vägagi väärt) ning legendaarsed Urban Decay 24/7 silmapliiatsid toonides Mushroom ja Zero.

Kuna järjekordselt said mu näopuhastusvahendid üleöö otsa, krabasin Selkust Lumene Radiant Touch värskendava puhastuskreemi normaalsele ja segatüüpi nahale. Mõned korrad olen seda kasutanud ja pole leidnud veel midagi, mida ette heita. Nagu enamike Lumene toodete puhul ikka :) Hind oli umbes 6 €. Kevadsuvisel perioodil tunnen ma suuremat vajadust toonikute järele ning kuna Nivea uudistoode 3in1 mitsellaarvesi oli soodushinnaga, kahmasin ka selle riiulilt korvi. Esialgu tundub olevat päris hea toode. Soodukalt sain selle alla 4€ eest.

Oriflame'ist tellisin viimati Perfect Fusion jumestuskreemi toonis Ivory (täishind 10,99€). Toon sobib mulle hetkel ideaalselt, see on niisutav ja üldiselt täitsa okei toode. Katvus on pigem kerge kuni keskmine, see on peaaegu lõhnatu ning pole tekitanud punnikesi ega ärritust, lisaks sisaldab SPF 25. Küll aga hakkab see mu kombineeritud nahal juba poole päeva pealt läikima, mistõttu ma pole selle suurim fänn. Samas kasutan parema puudumisel seda jumestuskreemi päris heal meelel edasi, lihtsalt pean oma rutiini lisama puudri või blotting-paberid :)

Ma olen Oriflame kreemlauvärvide väga suur fänn ja kui nad tulid välja Matte Velvet sarjaga, tellisin endale kohe ühe toonis Nude Mud. See ongi sõna otses mõttes mudakarva lauvärv :) Päris omaette jääb see ehk veidi tuimaks, seega katan seda mõne sillerdava lauvärviga või lisan silma välisnurka paar tooni tumedamat lauvärvi. Püsivus on super ja pealekandmine imelihtne.

Viimane soetatud toode on L'Oreal lauvärvikvartett toonis E4 Marron Glace. Minu kõige lemmikumad toonid on ühte karpi kokku pandud ning selle ühe paletiga on võimalik luua lugematu arv imeilusaid silmameike. Fantastiline! Hind jääb 11-12€ kanti.

I'm a proud owner of quite a lot of wonderful beauty items since my last haul post :)

I got a lovely present from Moekuulutaja team - an adorable little makeup bag, some Wella haircare samples which I find really convenient to take on small trips and the product I love the most from the bunch - MaxFactor Smoky Eye Effect double-ended cream eyeshadow stick in Bronze Haze which is perfect both for a subtle daytime or a smoky evening eye makeup :)

My awesome sister sent me a pile of amazing products - Make Up For Ever Mat Bronze bronzing powder in shade 30, Diorshow mascara, Revlon Colorstay long wear nail polish in 110 Marmalade (can't wait to try them all), two wonderful Bobbi Brown long-wear cream shadows in shades 25 Slate and 35 Shore (there will be a separate blog post on these because they are just ah-mazing) and two Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencils in Mushroom and Zero.

As always, my makeup removers got empty over night so I had to quickly grab something to remove my makeup - I decided to try Lumene Radiant Touch Refreshing Foam Cleanser for normal/combination skin. It hasn't disappointed me yet as Lumene products usually never do. Nivea came out with a new 3in1 Micellar Cleansing Water which is also quite nice.

Since I ran out of all the foundations that matched my winter bluish complexion I ordered Oriflame Perfect Fusion foundation in shade Ivory that matches me perfectly at the moment. It's moisturising, has light to medium coverage, is almost scent-free, has SPF 25 in it and hasn't broken me out. But my combination skin gets all shiny in the middle of the day so I can't say that this one is a must. Will use it anyway, though.. just need to powder or blot :)

I looooove Oriflame cream shadows so when they came out with Matte Velvet eyeshadows, I just had to try it. I got shade Nude Mud and it truly is a mud colour. I feel I need to put something over it or darken the outer corner of my eyes and then it is just perfect! :)

My most worn eyeshadow at the moment is L'Oreal eyeshadow quad in E4 Marron Glace. It has some of the loveliest taupe and brown shades to create countless gorgeous eye makeup looks. I definitely suggest you check it out ;)

Nädala Meik #2 / Makeup of the Week #2

Enne aga peatun põgusalt eelmise nädala muljetel:

sarja avaloo pettumuse valmistasid Avon Glimmerstick silmapliiats toonis Cosmic Brown… oli kuidagi kõva ja hajutamine ka raske, kasutasin seda vaid ühel päeval. 

Samuti ei suutnud ma nädalaga armuda paljukiidetud Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer peitekreemi. Mitte, et see oleks olnud ülimalt halb vaid et see lihtsalt ei suuda vajalikul määral mu tumesiniseid silmaaluseid peita.

Eelmise nädala hitt oli aga Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette lauvärvipalett - olen mattide lauvärvidega palju suuremaks sõbraks saanud ja see palett on nii mitmekesine, et igaks päevaks jätkus erinevaks meigiks materjali :)

Before I talk about my very pink picks for the week, let's see what I thought about the items I chose for last week:

my biggest disappointments were Avon Glimmerstick eyeliner in Cosmic Brown - it was just so hard on the eyes and hard to blend so I ended up using it only once. Also, the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer still didn't impress me and didn't cover my dark blue under-eye area that well :( I will continue using it but yeah… not worth the hype IMHO.

The hit of the week was Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette  - I became quite skilled with matte eyeshadows and the palette is very versatile. Definitely worth checking out if you prefer matte shadows ;)

One of my most favourite blushers (and well used, as you can see ;) ) is Yves Saint Laurent Blush Variation in shade 2 and as a highlighter I'll use Lancome Blush Subtil in 001 Highlighting Rose.

For the lips I grabbed four items from my Muji storage box:

Sleek Pout Polish in 962 Frosting, Bellaoggi lipstick pencil in 03 Candy Pink, Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm 17 and Manhattan Soft Mat Lipcream in 56K.

Uus sari: Nädala Meik #1 / New series: Makeup of the Week #1

Otsustasin sel aastal kasutada KÕIKI oma meigitooteid, mille tarbeks mõtlesin välja uue sarja - nädala meik! Valin iga nädala alguses välja tooted, mida terve nädala jooksul kasutan ja katsun igal nädalal uue komplekti kokku panna. Vaatame siis koos, mitmeks nädalaks mul unikaalseid komplekte kokku tuleb :)

Nüüd panen end proovile ja kasutan terve nädala paletti, millesse armusin sekundil kui seda uudiskirjas nägin - Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette, miles on vaid kaks sädelevat tooni! Siiski loodan, et paletis peituvad 7 tooni annavad mulle võimaluse igal nädalapäeval erinevaid look'e katsetada :)

Põsepunana kasutan oma vana (ja ta on tõesti olnud minu aastatepikkune hea sõber, mida on näha ka pakendist ;) ) Lancome Blush Subtil ruuži, mille tagumine osa on nii kulunud, et ei oska isegi tooni nime öelda. Ilus korallroosa, milles kuldsed kumavad osakesed.

Highlighter'ina, mida just talvel leian end tihemini kasutamas, läheb käiku Lancome Blush Subtil toonis 004 Highlighting Beige.

Tumesiniste silmaaluste peitmiseks kasutan Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer peitekreemi toonis 2 Light. Seni pole see mulle erilist muljet avaldanud, vaatame, mida see nädal toob :) 

Silmapliiatsitena lähevad käiku Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner toonis Golden Fawn ja Avon Glimmerstick toonis Cosmic Brown.

Kuna üldine meik kipub sel nädalal tulema pigem maalähedane ja naturaalne, otsustasin huultega veidi rohkem mängida. Esimese nädala valituteks osutusid: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Brilliance huuleläige toonis 15, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine toonis 54 Boy ja Dior Addict Lipstick toonis 530 Bobo.

On the first picture are my basics that I'm not going to change before they are empty.

Lancome Teint Renergie Lift foundation in shade 010, Avon eyeshadow primer in Light Beige, Oriflame Eyebrow Kit, MaxFactor Masterpiece Max mascara and Avon Glimmerstick in Blackest Black.

My this week's biggest challenge is to learn how to make matte eyeshadows work so I will use Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette that has only two sparkly eyeshadows in it!

As a blush I'm going to use my old friend Lancome Blush Subtil which shade number has rubbed off. As you see, I've been loving this coral with gold flecks in it ;) 

As a highlighter (which I feel the need to use especially during winter) I'll use Lancome Blush Subtil in 004 Highlighting Beige.

For covering my dark under-eye circles I'm going to use Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in shade 2 Light. I'm not a fan of this product yet and I hope my opinion will change after using it for a week :) 

As eyeliner I'm going to use Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner in Golden Fawn and Avon Glimmerstick in Cosmic Brown.

And because my makeup will be quite natural this week, I picked up some playful lipcolours: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Brilliance Sparkling Touch For Lips in shade 15, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 54 Boy and Dior Addict Lipstick in 530 Bobo.
