Makeup Revolution London Lip Products

If I have a makeup item obsession then my weakness is lipsticks :) 

(You can see my lipstick collection from two years ago that has expanded a lot by now HERE)

I've lost count of how many I have at the moment and I don't really care :) Whenever I feel down, stressed and just pissed off about everything buying lipstick always makes me feel better :D

I recently discovered Makeup Revolution London, did some research on what to order and was SO happy to discover that I can get a very good quality lipsticks starting with just £1! Yay!

With my first order I got these items that I found good reviews on:

Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer in What I Believe - this is a lip gloss that dries matte and is something like liquid lipstick. The shade is quite bright which makes it more suitable for summer. It does make my lips feel dry but it's not something too unbearable if I apply lip balm before or a regular gloss on top.

Amazing Lipgloss in Nude Shimmer - almost see-through light pink lip gloss that goes on top of every lipstick shade. Not too sticky and sheer enough to whack on without a mirror :)

Amazing Lipstick in The One, Ruby and 100% Vamp - I just can't believe how cheap these truly amazing lipsticks are! I love Ruby because it's a classic red that has slightly pink undertone and 100% Vamp is something I've never had in my collection. I cannot apply it as it is in the tube because I will look dead but applied sheer it makes me look so chic and like million bucks :D 

Unfortunately The One is too nude for me and doesn't flatter my skin tone (I'm fair and slightly olive undertone) but those who like skin coloured nudes will love it!

I strongly suggest you check out Makeup Revolution London because the reviews are great and prices even better! I think I will order some more of the Amazing Lipsticks and some of their eye shadow palettes because its rumoured in social media that they have great dupes for most of the raved high-end palettes out there ;)

Hiljuti avastasin enda jaoks vägagi taskukohase kosmeetikabrändi Makeup Revolution London. Tegin veidi taustauuringut ning tellisin mõned tooted huultele, sest just huulepulgad on minu nõrk koht ja neid pole kunagi liiga palju :)

Salvation Velvet Lip Laqcuer toonis What I Believe ( £3 ehk umbes 4€) - ere matt roosa huuleläige, mida võiks pigem iseloomustada kui vedelat huulepulka. Huuled muutuvad seda kandes kuivaks kuid kui enne kasutada huulepalsamit või lisada peale hoopis huuleläiget, on see üsna mugav ja püsib pikalt.
Amazing Lipgloss toonis Nude Shimmer (£1 ehk umbes 1.35€) - peaaegu läbipaistev heleroosa huuleläige, mis sobib iga huulepulga tooni peale ja mida on võimalik mugavalt ilma peeglita peale kanda.
Amazing Lipstick toonides The One, Ruby ja 100% Vamp (£1 ehk umbes 1.35€)- väga mõnusad huulepulgad, mille kvaliteet on sellise hinna kohta lausa suurepärane. Nahavärvi toon The One mulle kahjuks ei sobi, Ruby on klassikaline punane, millel kerge roosa alatoon ja seetõttu sobib minu jumega väga hästi. 100% Vamp on väga tume ploomitoon, mida ma otse tuubist peale kanda ei saa kuid huuli õrnalt huulepulgaga tupsutades ning värvi hajutades annab see väga šiki tulemuse.

Üldiselt jäin oma esimese tellimusega rahule, pakk jõudis ilusti Eestisse kohale ja liitudes uudiskirjaga saad esimesena teada headest pakkumistest, mida laekub küll iga nädal :)

Haul: few things from Germany

I spent last weekend in Germany in the lovely and beautiful city of Hamburg :)

And of course I couldn't walk past their beauty shops and get few things.

I have come to a point where I actually don't NEED anything so this time I was modest with my haul :)

From one of the largest beauty shops called Douglas I got two things from NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk which I thought would become handy while doing my MUA work and Butter Gloss Lipgloss in Peaches and Cream. The colour is very bright so it's more suitable for summer but if applied sheer I can get away with it even now during autumn :)

From another shop in Billstedt-Center I finally got my hands on Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer in shade 03 Fair. I haven't seen it in our local shops and since half of Youtube raves about it, I had to grab it. Unfortunately my first impressions are not super good but we'll see.

I also thought that trying out Essence Liquid Lipstick in shade 02 Beauty Secret would be interesting plus the shade is spot on for autumn :) 

Veetsin eelmise nädalavahetuse Saksamaal, võluvas linnas Hamburg ning otse loomulikult ei saanud ma kosmeetikapoodidest lihtsalt mööda kõndida :)

Õnneks olen jõudnud punkti, kus mul otseselt midagi VAJA ei ole ja seega olin oma ostudega üsna tagasihoidlik :)

Ilukaupluste ketist Douglas soetasin kaks NYX toodet - Jumbo Eye Pencil lauvärvipliiatsi toonis Milk (5.99€), mida plaanin kasutada oma jumestajatöödes. Butter Gloss huuleläige toonis Peaches and Cream (6.99€) on ere ja suvine läige kuid saan seda ka praegu kanda kui lisan huuletele õhukese kihi värvi.

Billstedt-Center kaubanduskeskusest rabasin kaasa Maybelline Instant Age Rewind peitekreemi toonis 03 Fair (9.99€), mida Youtube'is väga kiidetakse kuid minu esmamuljed pole siiski nii positiivsed kui ootasin :)

Essence Liquid Lipstick vedel huulepulk toonis 02 Beauty Secret (2.49€) tundus põnev ja toon ka sügisele sobiv. Kui mu mälu mind ei peta, siis peaks need ka meil Selverites müügil olema :)

Haul: Avon & Essence

I did a little haul recently and got some very affordable (if not to say cheap) products to try out. Here's my first impressions :)

Since I'm using powder foundation now which takes a bit of time to adjust to my skin I got Avon Makeup Setting Spray to help me fasten the process. It's unscented and comes out as a light mist.
I haven't used it enough to say if it does what it's supposed to but I'll continue using it and will let you know :)

The second product I was curious to try out was Avon Extra Lasting cream eyeshadow in shade Totally Taupe. This one surprised me a lot and in a good way. When I swatched it, it seemed a bit too shimmery for my liking but when I applied it, it was sheer and rather glowy. It lasted all day, didn't crease and putting it on with my fingers was quick and easy. It's actually more like a powder to a touch than a cream, maybe velvet would be an appropriate description for it. Happy I got it and what a bargain :)

There's only one store in my home town that recently started to sell makeup by Essence. This store has also a sale going on right now where some of the products are 40% off.

So I decided to get Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara to put my eyebrows in place and it's done a really good job :) They are tamed and stay put whole day!

The other product that actually was 40% off was Essence XXXLShine Lipgloss in shade #24 Just Gorgeous. Once again, I'm surprised how nice this product is. It's very glossy (not shimmery), moisturising and not sticky at all. For all that I will go and get some more shades of this lipgloss and will forgive the cheap-looking packaging :D Also, I saw Chloe Morello use Essence All About Matte Primer in one of her recent tutorials and since that one was also 40% off, I'm gonna go and get that one, too :)

Once again I was proved that good stuff doesn't have to cost a fortune :) Have you tried any of these products? What would you suggest me to try out from Essence next? :)

Eelmisel nädala soetasin mitu väga soodsat meigitoodet, mis juba miljonendat korda tõestavad, et hea asi ei pea ilmtingimata maksma terve varanduse :)

Kuna kasutan viimasel ajal mineraalpuudrit meigipõhjana, mille nahaga kohandumine võtab paarkümmend minutit aega, tellisin 1. oktoobrini kehtivast kataloogist Avon Makeup Setting Spray jumestust fikseeriva sprei, mille sain vaid 2.99€ eest (pakkumine kehtib kui tellid samast kataloogist mis tahes muu toote, originaalhind 8€). See on lõhnatu ja väljub pihustist peene uduna. Kas see ka oma lubadusi täidab, ei oska ma veel öelda, sest olen seda spreid kasutanud vaid paar korda :)

Loomulikult jäi mu silm peatuma ka Avon Extra Lasting kreemlauvärvil toonis Totally Taupe (hind 1. oktoobrini 3.49€, tavahind 4.90€), sest mu armastus igasuguste taupe toonide vastu on lausa patoloogiline. Kuigi toon tundus potsikus liiga sädelev on see tegelikkuses hoopis kumav, sõrmedega pealekandes kerge ning katsudes pigem puuderjas kui kreemine. Peal püsib hommikust õhtuni, ei kogune vagudesse ja kokkuvõttes üllatas mind väga positiivselt oma hea kvaliteediga :)

Tallinna Torupilli Selveris märkasin müügil firmat Essence, millest olen üsna tihti positiivseid arvustusi kuulnud/näinud!

Kuna väga paljud tooted olid niigi ülisoodsa hinnaga toodetel lisaks 40% allahinnatud, veetsin selles letis päris tükk aega.

Valituks osutusid Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara geel, mida kasutan kulmude fikseerimiseks (ostsin täishinnaga 2.79€ eest). Ja see toimib!!! Kulmukarvad on õhtul samas kohas, kus ma need geeli abiga hommikul pigutasin :)

Huuleläigete osas veetsin veel eriti kaua aega ja valisin välja Essence XXXL Shine huuleläike toonis #24 Just Gorgeous (40% soodustusega hinnaks 1.19€, täishind 1.99€). Huultel on see läikiv, niisutav ega kleepu üldse, toon on samuti väga nunnu :) Annan sellele isegi odava pakendi andeks ja lähen varsti uute huuleläigete järele.

Lisaks tahan soetada Essence All About Matte Primer aluskreemi, mida nägin Chloe Morello Youtube'i meigiõpetuses. Kui mu mälu mind ei peta, siis ka see toode oli Selveris 40% soodustusega :)

Lipstick Addict Tag

It's no news that my softest spot in makeup are lipsticks and lipgloss.

I always always wear something on my lips and sometimes get even some weird looks when I randomly grab a lipstick out and put some on without a mirror :D

So, when I saw a bunch of people on youtube making Lipstick Addict Tag videos I wanted to list my favourites, too!

I've already shown you my collection. Today I have 60 items and got rid of 4 while preparing this post :)

TAG questions:

1. Favourite balm/treatment? It has always been Elisabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant. I cannot live without it! It heals my lips within hours from every kind of trouble - cold, sun, cracks...whatever! It's magic and I will always have it with me :)

2. Best eye-catching red? I don't wear red lipstick because I just haven't found the shade that would suit my colouring (I'm more olive skinned). Hence I only have a few reddish lipsticks and my favourite is this oldie but goldie Estee Lauder Signature in shade 06 Lush Rose. It's cool-toned fuchsia red and suits me quite okay. Plus it looks almost red on my lips :D

3. Best luxury and best drugstore? I would say my most favourite luxury brand is Yves Saint Laurent. I love every formula, aswell as every shade of lipstick and lipgloss I have. I swatched (from top to bottom) Rouge Pur in 146 and 138 and Rouge Volupte in shade 26. 

I've also found that I love most of the L'Oreal lip products, too. Especially the new Color Riche L'Extraordinaire lip laquer in 201 Rose Symphony and their Caresse lipsticks which I have in shade 102 Mauve Cherie.

4. Best MAC lipstick? Since I haven't tried nor own any MAC lipsticks I'll show you my most favourite lipstick of all time. It suits me that well that absolutely every time I wear it, I get compliments. It's Maybelline ColorSensational in shade 910 Shocking Coral. Unfortunately it was limited edition and now I can wear it only on special occasions because I have only a tiny bit left :(

5. The most disappointing? I must say it's Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter. I had such high hopes for it and was extra excited when I finally got it because we don't have Revlon in Estonia, only to find it being quite an average product...

6. Lip liner - yes or no? Usually no. Only if I'm wearing red or darker colours or when I need my lipstick stay put for like 6 hours. But on a daily basis - never :D

7. Best gloss? I have three because I just couldn't choose. First - Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. They have amazing colour range, they smell and taste yummy and they truly deserve the name Perfector because they make your lips look fabulous. I swatched shade 05. 

Next one (swatch in the middle) is MaxFactor lipgloss in shade 35 Lovely Candy. It's beautiful and glossy on it's own and you can wear it under or on top of every colour because it suits everything :) And on the bottom is Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in shade 042 Bellini and I just love, love, love the formula. Perfect lipgloss :)

8. Something extra! This is just a tip for you - get a look at some really cheap brands once in a while, too. Those that you've maybe never even heard about. You might find some awesome products there just like I've discovered lovely and very affordable products from brands like Bellaoggi and BYS recently. 

And of course Sleek! I love Sleek! I believe I could solely survive only on Sleek makeup if I had to choose just one brand :)

Ostud… / Latest haul...

Paari viimase nädala jooksul olen soetanud päris mitu asja ning enamiku neist ka ära proovinud, seega alustagem algusest:

Avonist seotasin Big Colour silmapliiatsi toonis Pink Diamond - tegemist kreemja lauvärvipulgaga, mille suurim miinus on see, et seda tuleb teritada ja igasugust plastmassi on väga tüütu nüsida. Vähemalt minul saab absoluutselt alati nii süsi kui kest korralikult kannatada. Toon on väga õrn ja vajab enda alla kindlasti aluskreemi, vastasel juhul on see lauvärv küll paari tunniga laugudelt vehkat teinud.

Planet Spa sarja Sleep Serenity kummeli ja lavendliga padjasprei on väga mõnusa ja rahustava lõhnaga küll aga on see üsna vänge, mis tähendab, et padja pihustamisel tasub olla ettevaatlik :)

Planet Spa Perfectly Purifying surnumere mineraalidega näokoorijat ja -maski pole ma veel kasutanud. Maski proovin kindlasti lähipäevil, koorija jääb ootama aega, mil kasutusel olevast viimased tilgad välja pigistan :) Kuna Avoni hinnad on igas kataloogis erinevad, soovitan huvi korral külastada nende kodulehte või minu poole pöörduda :)

Vichy Purete Thermale 3in1 rahustav ja puhastav mitsellaarvesi on minu kõige hiljutisem ost, mida olen kasutanud vaid korra. Esmamulje on väga hea välja arvatud see, et silmameigi eemaldamine nõuab veidi rohkem tööd. Eks näis, kuidas see mu vaevatud ja probleemsele nahale pikema kasutusaja järel mõjub. Ostsin apteegist hinnaga 17,50 €.

Sügavpuhastavat šampooni olen juba pikka aega mõelnud osta ja lõpuks sain hakkama :D Varem pole ma taolisi tooteid kasutanud. Need paar korda, mil mõnusat sidrunilõhnalist Paul Mitchell Clarifying šampooni kasutanud olen, olen rahule jäänud. Juuksed on puhtad ja kohevad kuid ei saaks öelda, et need kauem kui tavalise pesuvahendiga puhtad püsiksid. Hind oli umbes 12 €.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector huuleläige/palsam on üks mu kõige lemmikumaid huuletooteid! Seda eriti talvisel hooajal. Niisutab, ravib, ei kleepu, annab ilusa värvi ja läike, lõhnab nii mõnusalt vanilliselt ning maitseb magus :D Hind on umbes 17 eurot aga mina sain selle alla 10 euroga kätte, sest kasutasin Partnerkaadile kogunenud punkte ning soodustust. Varasemalt oli mul toon 02 ja seekord soetasin tooni 05.

Although I haven't had the time to be extra active in blogging, I still managed to buy some new stuff. Some out of necessity and some out of curiosity ;D

My biggest haul was from Avon again - I got Big Colour Eye Pencil in Pink Diamond. It's a lovely sparkly light pink shade, which is very creamy but doesn't last more than for few hours. So an eyeshadow primer is a must with this product. One thing I really dislike about it, is that you have to sharpen it… These type of eye/lip pencils always get ruined after I sharpen them, so we'll see how this one will hold up.

Planet Spa Sleep Serenity pillow mist with camomile and lavender smells so lovely and calming but you shouldn't spray it very generously, otherwise you're not going to be able to sleep :D

I haven't yet tried Planet Spa Perfectly Purifying face scrub and mask but will soon and I promise to let you know how I like them :)

I've never used deep cleansing shampoos before and my first purchase of the kind was Paul Mitchell Clarifying shampoo. It smells like lemon, makes my hair really clean and gives volume, which I love. It doesn't keep my hair clean for longer than normal shampoos but I'm still happy with my purchase.

My latest buy was Vichy Purete Thermale 3in1 calming cleansing micellar water. I have used it only once and loved it except that it didn't get rid of my eye makeup and mascara very easily. We'll see how it goes after I've used it for longer.

One of my most favourite lip products I recently repurchased is Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. I've used up shade 02 and now got 05. It's moisturising, soothing, isn't sticky, gives a nice colour and shine, smells like vanilla and tastes sweet :) Love it, love it, love it!!!

Kaks lemmikut huultel / Favourite lip combo

Sel suvel kombineerisin enda jaoks kaks lemmikut huuletoodet ja tulemuseks sain mahlase ja isuäratava musisuu ;)

Lemmikkombinatsiooni peategelasteks on kõigepealt Diori Rouge Dior huulepulk toonis 264 Mitzah Lilac, millest kirjutasin lähemalt siin. Tugevama päevitusega jäi see mulle veidike liiga heledaks ning tekitas koolnu väljanägemise :D Kuid kuna mulle see huulepulk nii meeldib, otsisin varianti, kuidas seda siiski ka päevitunult kanda saaksin.

Ühel õhtul haarasin aga oma teise lemmiku - YSL huuleläike Gloss Pur toonis 9 (mida olen blogis maininud näiteks siin) ning kandsin seda Diori huulepulga peale.

Tulemuseks imeilus toon, mis pole liiga hele ega liiga tume ning paneb mu näo tõeliselt särama :)

Väikese aimduse sellest, milline tulemus kahe imeilusa huuletoote kooskandmisel tekib, saab näha ülemisel pildil kõige parempoolsemal swatch'il.

Suvel avastasin veel paar head nippi, kuidas oma huulepulki kavalalt kanda, sellest juba õige pea ;)

This summer I accidentally created a perfect lip combo just by wearing two of my fav lip products together :)

First I use Rouge Dior lipstick in 264 Mitzah Lilac and then apply YSL Gloss Pur lipgloss in shade 9 over it. The result is a perfect juicy pink that really brightens my face.

I also discovered some awesome tips how to make all of your lipsticks work which I will write about very soon ;)

My lipstick collection/ Minu huulepulgad

This is my lip products collection that contains of 58 items! I am amazed but what can you do being an addict? :D

I store my lipsticks and glosses in three acrylic Muji drawers on top of my dresser. 

Inside the top drawer with a see-through lid, I store my high-end lipsticks. Their packaging is just too beautiful to hide from anybody :)

In the middle drawer there are drugstore lipsticks and some glosses and in the bottom drawer glosses and six Sleek pout polishes.

I also picked out my current favourites. You can see the list below :)

Hetk tagasi tabas mind vastupandamatu soov üle vaadata oma huuletooted ja need korralikult ümber organiseerida. See postitus sisaldab endas huulepulki ja -läikeid, pliiatsiteni jõuan kunagi hiljem :)

Oma huulepulgakollektsiooni hoiustan kolmes Muji akrüülsahtlis, mis seisavad mu kummutil (rohkem infot nende suurepäraste abiliste kohta leiab siit).

Lugesin kokku - kolmes sahtlis peitub 58 eset...

Kõige ülemises sahtlis, selles, millel läbipaistev kaas peal, hoian oma "eksklusiivkosmeetika" varandust - Yves Saint Laurent, Lancome, Christian Dior, Chanel, Bobbi Brown jne. Nende pakendid on juba omaette vaatamisväärsus, mida kuhugi peita ma ei raatsi :)

Keskmises sahtlis on tavalised huulepulgad ja mõned läiked ning kõige alumises läiked ja kuus Sleek'i pout polish'it.

Valisin välja ka oma hetke lemmikud, lisan nende kohta ka eraldi pildi koos kirjeldusega :)

Superilus toon ja pakend on nii luksuslik, et hing kohe laulab sees :)

9) Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush ehk särapuuder/põsepuna kaks ühes toonis 7324 Natural - ka seda proovisin täna hommikul peale ja esimese hooga kandsin pintslile liiga palju toodet. Õnneks oli hajutamine väga lihtne ja ma ei väljunud kodust klounina :)

10) Ajakirja Elle 2013. aasta kalendermärkmik, mis läks ka kohe kasutusse

Yesterday I recieved a gift from my sister from the post-office. She got me some products we can't buy here and added some extra stuff :) You can see the product list above.

I used only two products from these today - Burberry eyeshadow no 09 Rosewood which is the most gorgeous taupey color that is so versatile - you can use it all over the lid, in the crease or get a deeper colour when applying 2-3 layers. The packaging is so sleek, beautiful and screams of high-end and I absolutely love it :)

The second product I used today was Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in 7324 Natural. First I got a little too much on my brush but since it blends so easily I left home looking nice and not like a circus clown :)

I will definitely write reviews on these thing after I've used them some time because I am already itching to try them out :)
