I am slowly emptying my perfumes and although I have my top 5 favourite perfumes, I'd like to find something new and exciting.
I've collected a huge pile of perfume samples over the time and I keep them in this little pouch.
I randomly picked out five and tested each one for a day.
So, I picked out Love, Chloe, Rochas Eau Sensuelle, Kiehl's Original Musk, Jeanne Lanvin Couture and YSL Manifesto.
Love, Chloe (launched in 2010) and Rochas Eau Sensuelle (from 2009) were both very strong sweet scents that seemed more appropriate for evening wear and for mature ladies. Both of them did not suit me at all and made my head ache within half an hour. They seemed very similar scents to me and they do have some notes that are the similar (Love, Chloe here and Rochas Eau Sensuelle here). Unfortunately I can't wear neither of these, so moving on.
Kiehl's Original Musk is an unisex perfume which dates back to 1851. You can definitely sense that the recipe is very old and in my opinion you either like it or hate it. It brings me back to my childhood and to the scent that came from my great aunt's buduoir. I like it and would like to have it in my collection. But I'm not running to the counter just yet :)
Both Jeanne Lanvin Couture (launched in 2012) and YSL Manifesto (also launched in 2012) were more like my cup of tea. Both sweet but calm scents that didn't irritate me in any way. In my opinion they are suitable for both day and night wear. You can find notes of Lanvin Couture here and Manifesto's here . If I had to pick, I would go for Manifesto because it has two of my favourite scents in it - sandalwood and vanilla.
But... I'm still in search of a new favourite perfume so I'll be testing out other perfumes from my sample pile :)
Aegade jooksul on mul kogunenud mitukümmend parfüümitestrit ning kuna järjepidevalt saavad otsa parfüümid mu enda kollektsioonist, otsustasin sämpleid proovima hakata, lootuses, et leian uue lemmiklõhna :)
Testrid on mul väikse sinise kotikese sees ning valisin sealt suvalised viis välja, mis näppu jäid.
Love, Chloe ja Rochas Eau Sensuelle olid kaks sarnast lõhna, mis mõlemad panid mul poole tunniga pea valutama. Vänged, tummised ja magusad, sobilikud pigem õhtuseks kandmiseks ning vanemale daamile. Lõhnanoote saab kummagi kohta lugeda siit: Love, Chloe ja Rochas Eau Sensuelle . Seega kummastki neist ei saa minu uut lemmiklõhna.
Kiehl's Original Musk on tugev muskuselõhnaline unisex parfüüm, mis on parajalt eriline ning mis kas meeldib või üldse mitte. Lõhn on loodud aastal 1851 ja kindlasti on seda parfüümi nuusutades tunda ajaloo hõngu. Mind viib see alati tagasi lapsepõlve, vanatädi buduaari, mille sahtlid lõhnasid üsna sarnaselt.
